CAILYN HOANG

Certified Legal Intern

Cailyn Hoang was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Pike High School in 2018. She graduated summa cum laude with her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Criminology and Psychological Science from Ball State University in 2021.

 

While studying at Ball State University, Cailyn was involved in College Mentors for Kids, Inc. and Alpha Lambda Delta. Cailyn decided to pursue law school upon the advice and encouragement from her criminal law professor, a former prosecutor. Cailyn completed an internship at Freedman Law, P.C. and studied abroad in the England, which solidified her passion for law. 

 

Cailyn is now pursuing her Juris Doctorate at University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio. Cailyn is on Law Review Journal and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for being top in her Civil Procedure class. After taking the BAR, Cailyn plans to become a family law attorney at Freedman Law, P.C. 

 

Cailyn enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and trying new foods. Cailyn also loves spending time with her family and her dog, Hershey.

KELLIE O'SHEA

Paralegal

In 1991, Kellie earned an associates degree in criminal justice and corrections from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She received her paralegal diploma in 1996 from MTI in Colton, California. 

Born and raised in Canada, Kellie moved to California in 1992 where she worked in a residential setting with children ages 6 through 18 who had mental health issues. She then returned to her paralegal studies.  

In 1999, Kellie moved to Indiana where she and her husband raised a blended family. During this time, Kellie worked full time in the legal field. Kellie has spent 27 years assisting attorneys in subrogation, trust and estates, environmental, construction, and family law cases. Kellie concentrated in family law for several years.

When she is not working, Kellie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and working out.
